Federal College of Education, Kano Converts to Federal University of Education

As part of the transition, Dr. Sadi Mohammed Sirajo has been appointed as the Acting Vice-Chancellor of the new university. Other principal officers of the former college have been instructed to continue in their roles on an acting basis.

Federal College of Education, Kano Converts to Federal University of Education

The Federal Government has approved the conversion of the Federal College of Education, Kano, into the Federal University of Education, Kano. The approval was officially communicated via a letter with reference number FME/TE/CU/432/VOL. 1/132, dated August 14, 2024.

As part of the transition, Dr. Sadi Mohammed Sirajo has been appointed as the Acting Vice-Chancellor of the new university. Other principal officers of the former college have been instructed to continue in their roles on an acting basis.
