The Management of the Federal College of Education, Obudu has approved a temporary closure of the College to allow staff and students to observe the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year celebrations.
The College will close on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., and will reopen on Monday, January 5, 2026. The break is intended to give members of the College community the opportunity to travel, celebrate with their families, and observe the festive season.
All administrative and academic activities will resume immediately upon reopening. Staff and students are advised to ensure that all electrical appliances are switched off and that doors and windows are properly secured before departure. Security personnel are expected to remain vigilant throughout the closure period, while staff assigned to essential duties are exempted from the break.

Members of the College community, regardless of religious affiliation, are encouraged to use this period for reflection and prayer for peace, health, and prosperity in the coming year.
