Federal Ministry of Education Opens 2025/2026 Scholarship Application
The scholarships are available for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in countries such as Russia, China, Hungary, Serbia, and Romania.
The Federal Ministry of Education, through the Federal Scholarship Board, has announced the opening of applications for the 2025/2026 Federal Government Scholarship Awards under the Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA). The scholarships are available for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in countries such as Russia, China, Hungary, Serbia, and Romania.
Undergraduate applicants must have obtained at least two distinctions in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (WASSCE/WAEC) and should not be older than 20 years for African countries and 22 years for non-African countries. Postgraduate applicants for Master's programs must hold a First Degree with at least a Second-Class Lower and be no older than 35 years. PhD applicants must be no older than 40 years.
The scholarship covers various fields including Engineering, Geology, Agriculture, Sciences, Mathematics, Environmental Sciences, Architecture, and Medicine.
Interested candidates are required to complete the application form available on the Ministry of Education's website and submit necessary documents, including WAEC results, a birth certificate, and an indigene letter. Additionally, applicants will be required to undergo a mandatory one-year foreign language course.
