Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Approves Refund of NELFUND Loan

The management of Federal Polytechnic Bauchi (FPTB) has approved the refund of the remaining balance of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) to beneficiaries.

This development follows a successful meeting between the Students' Union Government (SUG) and the Students' Loan Officer of the institution.

According to a statement signed by the SUG President, Comr. Haruna Umar, beneficiaries who have collected their clearance can submit their account details to the Students Account Officer to claim their refund. "All beneficiaries who have successfully collected clearance can bring their account details to the students account officer to claim their rightful money," the statement read.

This refund is a significant development for FPTB students who have benefited from the NELFUND loan scheme. The Nigerian Education Loan Fund is a government-funded initiative aimed at providing financial assistance to students in tertiary institutions.

The approval of the refund by the FPTB management demonstrates the institution's commitment to supporting its students' academic pursuits. Beneficiaries are advised to submit their account details promptly to facilitate a smooth refund process.
