Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Extends Medical Center Hours Following Student Union Government's Advocacy

The management of Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has approved the extension of consultation and admission hours at the institution's medical center, following advocacy efforts by the Student Union Government (SUG).

 

According to a statement released by the SUG's Public Relations Officer, Ahmad Muhammad Yusuf, the medical center will now operate from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, an additional two hours from the previous schedule.

The SUG had pushed for the extension, citing the previous hours as inadequate and leading to difficulties for students seeking medical attention and checkups.

The management's decision has been welcomed by the SUG, which expressed gratitude for the prompt response to their plea. The SUG noted that the management's commitment to student welfare is commendable and looks forward to seeing more developments to ensure student well-being.
