The management of the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi (FPTB) has reiterated its commitment to upholding academic integrity by outlining stringent penalties for examination misconduct. The measures, detailed in the institution's student handbook, aim to promote fairness and discipline among students.

According to the handbook, entering the examination hall with unauthorized materials, such as textbooks, handsets, or electronic gadgets, without using them, will result in rustication for one semester. However, the use of any of these items during the examination carries a more severe penalty of expulsion.

The institution also considers other forms of misconduct seriously. Actions such as making noise, eating, or causing disturbances during exams will lead to rustication for one semester.
