Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Student Union Government Embarks on Well-Digging Project to Address Water Scarcity

The Student Union Government (SUG) of Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has initiated a well-digging project in both male and female hostels to provide students with uninterrupted access to water.

This project aims to address the long-standing issue of water scarcity, which has been exacerbated by frequent electricity outages.

The well project, funded by El-Kush Sadakatul Jariya Foundation, promises to provide a reliable source of water for students, staff, and the host community. This initiative will alleviate the challenges faced by students, including lack of access to basic necessities like flushing toilets and washing clothes.

During a recent visit to the project site, SUG President Comrade Haruna Umar reiterated the union's commitment to serving the needs of students. He expressed gratitude to the foundation, the management, SUG executives, and the entire student body for their support and encouragement.

 

This project demonstrates the SUG's dedication to improving the lives of students and promoting a conducive learning environment. Upon completion, the well project is expected to have a positive impact on the entire polytechnic community.
