Federal Polytechnic Damaturu SUG Addresses Delays in Yobe State Scholarship Payments

The Students' Union Government (SUG) of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu has officially addressed the growing concerns regarding the delay in the disbursement of scholarship funds to students.

In a formal statement released on December 30, 2025, the SUG Vice President, Binta Adamu, acknowledged the widespread frustration and financial strain the delay has caused within the student body. She assured students that the union is treating the matter with the utmost urgency.

The SUG leadership confirmed that they are currently engaged in high-level discussions with both the Polytechnic Management and the Yobe State Scholarship Board to ascertain the status of the funds and expedite the payment process.

"I want to assure you that I, along with the SUG team, are working tirelessly to resolve this matter," the statement read. "We are awaiting a response on the status of the funds and will continue to push for a resolution to ensure that students receive their scholarships as soon as possible."
