Federal University Dutse Releases Revised Academic Calendar For 2023/2024 Session

The Senate of Federal University Dutse (FUD) has approved a revised calendar of dates and events for the 2023/2024 academic session.

The revised calendar, announced at the 63rd extraordinary meeting of the Senate, outlines key dates for registration, lectures, examinations, and breaks.

Key highlights of the revised calendar include:

- Registration for new students: February 12 - March 9, 2024 (4 weeks)

- Registration for returning students: February 26 - March 23, 2024 (4 weeks)

- Lecture period for 1st semester: March 18 - June 22, 2024 (14 weeks)

- Add and Drop period: April 1 - 13, 2024 (2 weeks)

- 1st semester examinations: June 24 - July 13, 2024 (3 weeks)

- Inter-semester break: July 15 - 27, 2024 (2 weeks)

- Lecture period for 2nd semester: July 29 - September 14, 2024 (7 weeks)

- Mid-semester break: September 16 - 21, 2024 (1 week)

- Continuation of 2nd semester lectures: September 23 - October 12, 2024 (6 weeks)

- 2nd semester examinations: October 14 - November 2, 2024 (3 weeks)

- New session begins: December 11, 2024
