Federal University Dutse Seeks New Vice-Chancellor

The Federal University Dutse has announced a vacancy for the position of Vice-Chancellor, effective February 10, 2026.

The university invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the role, which involves providing academic and administrative leadership, ensuring responsible management of university funds and resources, and maintaining peace, law, and order within the institution.

To be eligible, candidates must be distinguished scholars with academic and administrative leadership abilities, holding a Ph.D. and professorship for at least five years. They should also have at least 15 years of experience in university teaching, research, and administration.

Interested candidates are required to submit 25 copies of their application and detailed Curriculum Vitae to the Registrar, Federal University Dutse. The appointment is for a single term of five years, non-renewable, and candidates must not be more than 65 years of age at the time of assumption of duty.
