Federal University Dutse Suspends MBBS Admissions for 2024/2025 Academic Session

Federal University Dutse has announced a temporary suspension of admissions to its Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) program for the 2024/2025 academic session. The decision is due to the need to address a backlog of previously admitted students.

The university received commendations from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) during a recent accreditation visit, highlighting the excellence of its College of Medicine. Despite this recognition, the university has opted to pause new admissions to ensure that existing students receive optimal educational support.
