Professor Johnson Alao, Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies at Federal University, Gashua, University, Gashua, Yobe State, has completed a Law degree at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Makurdi Study Centre.

Professor Alao shared that studying Law through NOUN was a fulfilling experience, allowing him to pursue a long-held academic goal without interrupting his professional duties. He described his journey as both exciting and challenging, highlighting the demands of course registration, reading, completing TMAs, and sitting for exams.
