Professor Johnson Alao, Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies at Federal University, Gashua, University, Gashua, Yobe State, has completed a Law degree at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Makurdi Study Centre.
Professor Alao shared that studying Law through NOUN was a fulfilling experience, allowing him to pursue a long-held academic goal without interrupting his professional duties. He described his journey as both exciting and challenging, highlighting the demands of course registration, reading, completing TMAs, and sitting for exams.
In an interview with NOUN News in Makurdi, Alao noted that NOUN’s innovative approach to education, which allows students to study without leaving their jobs, was a key motivation for him.
