The directive applies to both new and returning students.
In a notice dated 10th November 2025, issued by the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Isah Yinusa, students were instructed to strictly adhere to the prescribed procedures to ensure smooth and secure hostel allocation.

Clearance Requirement: Students must first obtain official clearance from the Dean of Students’ Office before making any accommodation payment. Payments made without prior clearance will not guarantee a bed space.

Payment Method: Payments are to be made only via direct bank teller deposits into the university’s designated accommodation account. Account details will be provided upon obtaining clearance at the Dean’s Office.

Prohibited Payment Methods: The university emphasized that online transfers, mobile banking, and POS payments are not permitted and will not be acknowledged.

Verification: Students must present their bank tellers at the Dean of Students’ Office to complete registration and receive hostel allocation.

Compliance Warning: Failure to follow these guidelines will result in the forfeiture of hostel accommodation for the session.
