Federal University of Education, Zaria Inaugurates Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit

Federal University of Education, Zaria, inaugurated its Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU) on October 10, 2024. The event, held at the Academic Conference Room of the University's Senate, underscores the institution's ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability.

The Acting Vice Chancellor, Dr. Suleiman Balarabe, represented by Dr. Haliru Musa, Acting Director of Academic Planning, addressed the gathering. He urged the newly inaugurated committee members to uphold integrity and transparency in line with the university's values.

The oath of office was administered by Barr. M. Mamman, Legal Officer of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), Kaduna State branch. The eight-member committee is chaired by Dr. Ibrahim Muhammad Tanimu and includes Mrs. Josephine Isioma Sule as secretary, alongside other distinguished members.
