He described the recognition as a collective achievement and reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive governance and quality service delivery.
Professor Uba stated that a new era has begun at FUHSO, stressing that his administration is “for nobody, but for everybody.” He urged staff to shun division and embrace unity, describing the University as one family working together for sustainable growth and development.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Organising Committee and Director of Research and Innovation, Professor Joseph Okopi, said the event was organised to appreciate the Vice-Chancellor for the numerous welfare initiatives and infrastructural interventions already implemented under his leadership.
Goodwill messages were delivered by the University Bursar, Chief Dr. Paul Hassan Akpa, who also received an award, alongside members of the University Management and representatives of the Old Boys Association of St. John’s Secondary School, Amoke, where Professor Uba serves as the substantive National President.
