Federal University Wukari Announces Innocent Jude Ike as Best Graduating Student

At the 8th and 9th Combined Convocation of the Federal University Wukari, Taraba State, held on 29 November 2025, Innocent Jude Ike was honoured as the overall best graduating student of the 2022/2023 academic session. The awards ceremony — part of the university’s convocation programme — took place at the university’s convocation grounds.

Innocent Jude Ike attained a remarkable cumulative grade point average of 4.92 and was the recipient of multiple prestigious awards.

In his acceptance remarks, Ike expressed gratitude to his family, mentors and the university community for their unwavering support throughout his studies. University officials lauded his dedication, noting that his performance exemplifies the academic excellence the institution strives to promote.

The convocation ceremony was presided over by the Chancellor of the university, and attended by government officials, faculty members, graduating students and their families.
