FEDPOFFA Governing Council Holds Inaugural Meeting, Outlines Vision for Polytechnic's Future

The 7th Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic Offa (FEDPOFFA) held its inaugural meeting on Tuesday at the Polytechnic's New Board Room. The council members were welcomed by the Polytechnic's Management Committee, led by the Rector, Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin, FNSE.

Alhaji Ojikutu, who presided over the meeting, emphasized the importance of the visit as an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Management Committee and the broader Polytechnic community. He praised the Rector and his team for their dedication and creativity in maintaining the institution’s academic progress, urging staff to prepare for the tasks ahead. Ojikutu promised to collaborate closely with the Management Committee, aiming for a seamless integration of plans and policies, stating, "I will lead from the front in raising the bar."

In response, Rector Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin congratulated the new Council members on their appointments and assured them of the Management's full cooperation and support. He highlighted the Polytechnic's achievements under his leadership and shared his vision for the institution's future, acknowledging the challenges ahead. "I pledge my full support and dedication to working with the 7th Governing Council for the progress and success of this institution, and I pray that God will continue to be our ultimate support as we strive to elevate the Polytechnic to new heights," he stated.

Following the inaugural session, the Rector led the Governing Council on a courtesy visit to the Palace of Olofa of Offa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Mufutau Muhammed Gbadamosi, Okikiola Ajagungbade I Esuwoye II. During the visit, Alhaji Ojikutu expressed gratitude to the community for its support and called for continued peaceful coexistence.
