Femi Falana Petitions Court to Enforce Free Basic Education, Seeks Compliance from Government

Lawyer and activist Femi Falana, along with co-plaintiff Hauwa Mustapha, has filed a suit at the Federal High Court in Lagos, seeking to compel the Federal Government, state governments, and Abuja to provide free and compulsory education up to junior secondary school level. The suit, filed on behalf of the Alliance on Surviving COVID-19 and Beyond, aims to enforce the provisions of the Compulsory, Free Universal Basic Education Act, 2004.
