Fintiri Inaugurates Construction of 21 Model Basic Schools in Adamawa State

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has commenced the construction of 21 model basic education schools in Adamawa State, marking a significant stride towards enhancing the educational infrastructure in the region. The inauguration ceremony, held in Girei on Thursday, underscores the government's commitment to providing quality education across all 21 local government areas of the state.

During the ceremony, Governor Fintiri emphasized that each local government area would receive a project worth a minimum of N1 billion, totaling a project worth ₦14,993,496,288.47. This collaborative effort between the government and the local councils aims to prioritize education and ensure that every child has access to quality learning environments.

Governor Fintiri reiterated the government's dedication to investing in the education sector, recognizing its pivotal role in fostering prosperity and advancing societal development. He emphasized that education serves as a cornerstone for empowering individuals, fostering dignity, pride, and peace within the community.

Furthermore, Governor Fintiri announced plans by the Ministry of Education and the Scholarship Board to roll out modalities for awarding fully-funded international scholarships to 200 beneficiaries in key areas such as science, engineering, ICT, and artificial intelligence. This initiative aims to support deserving students and enhance their access to quality education in critical fields.
