Kolawole, a 1967 graduate of the 64-year-old school, noted that the government alone cannot meet the educational needs of citizens, especially during economic crises. He urged private sector involvement, particularly from alumni associations, to help fill the gaps.
The event honored Kolawole and Mr. Lucas Daramola, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, both distinguished alumni of the school. Kolawole expressed his gratitude for being inducted into the CAPOSTO Hall of Fame and pledged ongoing support for the school's development.
In a lecture themed “Reconnecting CAPOSTO to the National Grid,” Mr. Gbenga Oluwaniyi, another alumnus, stressed the collective responsibility of all former students to actively participate in the alumni association. He highlighted the widespread neglect of public schools across Nigeria and the need for concerted efforts to improve their conditions.

Future projects include establishing a school clinic, implementing solar energy, and building an alumni house to display the photographs of CAPOSTO Hall of Fame members.
Ojo encouraged members to continue their efforts to transform their alma mater into a world-class secondary school.
