Thandi Princess Ngxongo, a resilient and visionary woman hailing from a farm along the Mooi River in South Africa, has carved an extraordinary path in the realm of chemical engineering. Rising above challenges, Thandi's passion for science ignited at an early age as she played amidst worn vehicles imbued with the scent of petrol and oil on her family's farm.

Embarking on her academic odyssey, Thandi enrolled at the Durban University of Technology, graduating with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Chemical Engineering. Her hands-on experience extended to working with Engen SA, a prominent player in the oil industry. Not content with her achievements, Thandi pursued further education, securing an MBA and additional certificates.
