The lecture will be delivered by Prof. Ebenezer Ejalonibu Lawal and is titled “Paradox and Problems of Development: The Pedestal and Pragmatic of a Political Scientist.”

The Inaugural Lecture platform is a key academic tradition within the university, designed to showcase scholarly contributions of senior academics and stimulate intellectual discourse on pressing societal issues.
Prof. Lawal’s lecture is expected to interrogate the contradictions surrounding development processes, particularly from a political science perspective, and propose pragmatic pathways for addressing structural challenges in governance and policy execution.
University officials described the event as both an academic milestone and a continuation of the institution’s commitment to research-driven dialogue and public engagement.
