The Management of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has issued a disclaimer regarding fraudulent activities involving the sale of Postgraduate application forms. Scammers have been operating fake Facebook pages and bank accounts, falsely claiming to sell these forms.

The scam is using the following bank details:

- Account name: Bursary Administrative Accounts

- Account No: 4513529294

FULafia wants to clarify that the School of Postgraduate Studies has NOT commenced the sale of application forms for any of its programmes and has NOT authorised any individual, company, or group to collect money on its behalf. The University adheres to a strict procedure for announcing the sale of application forms, admissions, fees payments, and other activities.

Members of the public are urged to be vigilant and cautious of fraudsters attempting to defraud unsuspecting individuals. Any suspicious activities should be reported to the security agencies. The University is collaborating with these agencies to identify and apprehend those involved in these illegal practices.
