FULafia Leadership Pays Visit to Emir of Lafia
Hon. (Mrs.) Lola Fibisola Akande, Pro-Chairman of FULafia's Governing Council, and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman visited the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad I, to promote collaboration and enhance community ties.

Hon. (Mrs.) Lola Fibisola Akande, Pro-Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), recently led a delegation to the palace of His Royal Highness Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad I, JSC (rtd) CFR, the Emir of Lafia and Chairman of the Nasarawa State Council of Chiefs.
Accompanied by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman and other university representatives, the visit aimed to strengthen collaboration between FULafia and local leadership. This meeting highlighted the university’s commitment to engaging with traditional institutions and improving community relations.
During the visit, Hon. Akande emphasized the importance of partnership for regional development, while the Emir acknowledged the vital role of education in fostering community progress. This visit represents a significant step towards building a fruitful partnership between FULafia and the emirate.
