FULafia VC Prof. Abdul Rahman Appoints new Anti corruption and Transparency Unit Head

The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, has approved the appointment of Mrs. Joyce Awazi as the Head of the Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU).

Until her appointment, Mrs. Awazi was the head of administration in the Directorate of Advancement and Linkages at the Federal University of Lafia.

According to a statement issued by Office of the Registrar of the University, Malam Nuradeen Abdu, the appointment of the Head, Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU), would subsist for one year and it takes effect from Thursday, May 23, 2024.

The statement said that the new head of ACTU would also serve as the secretary to the Anti-Corruption and Transparency Committee of the University.
