FULokoja Commissions First Zoo and Conservatory in Kogi State to Boost Tourism and Promote Research

Yesterday, the Conservator General of the National Park Service, Dr Ibrahim Musa Goni, joined by the Maigari of Lokoja, His Royal Highness Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi IV, commissioned the Federal University Lokoja Zoo and Conservatory (FULZAC) - the first in Kogi State - as the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi and his management team received wide commendation for the laudable project.

The historic event drew the presence of dignitaries within and outside Kogi State. Many of the guests and indigenes of Kogi State could not hide their excitement as they praised the visionary leadership of the Professor Akinwumi-led administration for the giant stride.
