FULOKOJA Notice on Stoppage of Payment of School Fees in Installment

The Principal Officer Committee (POC) at its 112th Regular Meeting held on Monday, September 22, 2025, while considering payment of school fees in installments by students, noted that the privilege has been grossly abused, with a significant percentage of students defaulting in payment of the balance after registration.

The consequence has been that the University groans under a heavy financial burden and is unable to meet its financial obligations. 

POC also noted that the introduction of the student loan under the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFund), aimed at assisting students with funds for school fees payment and leaving no student behind, was a welcome relief to students, parents, and/or guardians. 

Accordingly, POC directed that with effect from the 2025/2026 academic session, school fees will be paid in full at registration and at the commencement of each academic session.
