FUNAAB Senate Elects Prof. Oluwakemi Fapojuwo to Academic Staff Appointments and Promotions Committee
FUNAAB has elected Prof. Oluwakemi Fapojuwo of the Department of Agricultural Administration (AGAD), College of Agricultural Management and Rural Development (COLAMRUD), as one of its four representatives on the Appointments and Promotions Committee for Academic Staff (APCAS).

The Senate of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has elected Prof. Oluwakemi Fapojuwo of the Department of Agricultural Administration (AGAD), College of Agricultural Management and Rural Development (COLAMRUD), as one of its four representatives on the Appointments and Promotions Committee for Academic Staff (APCAS). The election took place on August 29, 2024, during the 227th Statutory Meeting of the Senate.
According to a release signed by the Acting Registrar, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Dawodu, Prof. Fapojuwo’s appointment will span a two-year term, effective from August 29, 2024. Her election reflects the Senate’s confidence in her capabilities and leadership abilities, which are expected to contribute significantly to the effective functioning of the committee.
Prof. Fapojuwo’s role on the APCAS will involve participating in key decisions regarding the appointments and promotions of academic staff, ensuring that the university maintains high standards of academic excellence and integrity.
