Benue State University Writers League Partners with SUG to Revive Campus Literary Culture
The Writers' League of Benue State University held a meeting with the Students’ Union President, Comrade Oyi Samuel Alechenu, to discuss strategies for revitalizing the League and promoting writing among students.
The Writers' League at Benue State University (BSU), led by Mr. Dzungwe Johnmark, has taken a significant step toward revitalizing the literary culture on campus by seeking collaboration with the Students' Union Government (SUG). During a recent meeting with the SUG President, Comrade Oyi Samuel Alechenu, discussions centered on ways to strengthen the League, which has produced notable writers both locally and internationally.
Comrade Alechenu, accompanied by his Chief of Staff and ally, Comrade Ogah Samuel Mc Prime, warmly welcomed the initiative. He shared his personal connection to the League, revealing that he was a former member and an award-winning writer.
