The Physics Department of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) is gearing up to host the Joint International Centre of Theoretical Physics-International Atomic Energy Agency (ICTP-IAEA) FUNAAB Sub-Saharan Africa School. This event will focus on the applications of Monte Carlo and Molecular Dynamics Simulations in Radiation and Health Physics.

Scheduled to take place from June 23 to June 28, 2024, at the Department of Physics, FUNAAB, the program will commence daily at 9:00 a.m. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, will preside as the Chief Host of the event.
Sponsored by the Nigeria Society for Radiation Protection (NSRP) and the IAEA-ICTP Office of External Activity, the school targets fresh postgraduate students, advanced postgraduate students, and young scientists from Sub-Saharan Africa.
