FUOYE Announces 2025/2026 Pre-Degree Admissions at Omuo-Oke Centre

According to information released through the Centre’s Admissions Office, the programme remains one of the institution’s most reliable preparatory routes for candidates aiming at fields such as Medicine, Pharmacy, Law, Architecture, Nursing, Mechatronics, Mass Communication, Accountancy, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Microbiology, Theatre and Media Arts, Hotel and Tourism Management, Animal Production and Health, Food Science Technology and a broad range of other disciplines.
The admissions unit explained that the Pre-Degree scheme is designed to strengthen candidates’ foundational knowledge in key subjects while improving their overall readiness for university-level study. Officials at the Omuo-Oke Centre emphasised that the streamlined structure of the programme continues to attract candidates seeking a competitive advantage in FUOYE’s admission cycle.

Eligibility requirements for the new session include a minimum of five credit passes in SSCE, NECO or NABTEB obtained in no more than two sittings. English Language and Mathematics remain compulsory for all applicants, with Mathematics specifically required for candidates pursuing Science, Management Science and Social Science courses. The Admissions Office added that Literature-in-English is mandatory for those seeking placement in English and Literary Studies, Linguistics, or Theatre and Media Arts.
Applications are to be submitted exclusively through the FUOYE Pre-Degree portal at predegree.fuoye.edu.ng.
The Directorate of Pre-Degree Programmes outlined the steps for prospective candidates:
• Complete the online payment form accurately.
• Make the required application payment of ₦25,000 through Remita.
• Upload all supporting documents for verification.
• Monitor the portal regularly for updates on admission status.
According to Mr. Adebayo Ayeni of the Omuo-Oke Centre Admissions Office, the university expects increased interest this cycle and urges applicants to follow all instructions carefully to ensure a smooth screening and placement process.
