FUOYE Forges International Partnership with Vaal University of Technology on Innovation
FUOYE has taken a significant step toward strengthening its international collaboration on innovation. Associate Professor Olushola S. Ayanda, the Acting Director of Innovation at FUOYE, recently visited the Vaal University of Technology (VUT) in South Africa as a visiting professor.

The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has taken a significant step toward strengthening its international collaboration on innovation. Associate Professor Olushola S. Ayanda, the Acting Director of Innovation at FUOYE, recently visited the Vaal University of Technology (VUT) in South Africa as a visiting professor. The visit focused on exploring potential partnerships between the two institutions, particularly in technology transfer, research, and innovation.
During the visit, discussions centered on knowledge sharing, capacity building, and the commercialization of research outputs, aimed at fostering mutual growth. Both universities are expected to benefit from joint research projects, faculty and student exchanges, and the development of innovative solutions to global challenges.
This partnership aligns with the vision of FUOYE’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abayomi S. Fasina, who seeks to leverage the strengths of both institutions to advance technological innovation and contribute to economic development.
