The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has swiftly responded to allegations circulating on social media regarding the neglect of undergraduates within its faculty of Engineering. The accusations, originating from a post by Rose Oluchi of the Concerned Parents and Educators Network, were promptly addressed by FUOYE's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abayomi Sunday Fasina.

In a statement released by the Special Adviser on Media Matters, Wole Balogun, the Vice-Chancellor denounced the allegations as baseless, misleading, and intended to tarnish the university's reputation. Prof. Fasina assured that investigations were conducted immediately upon learning of the accusations, revealing that students across all faculties, including Engineering, receive regular and quality lectures both virtually and physically.
