The announcement was made during the second edition of the Business Meeting, where Comrade Samuel Omoniyi-Ojo, the Ekiti State Chairman of FUTA Alumni, expressed gratitude to members for their steadfast support and dedication to the growth and development of the university. The annual gathering served as a platform for both younger and older members to connect, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose among alumni.

The collective generosity of the alumni community ensured substantial contributions to the scheme, which is poised to commence this year.
