Timilehin Adeoye and Emmanuel Adeboje, alumni of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), have emerged victorious at the highly competitive Digital PayExpo Pay Innovation Pitch held at Eko Hotel in Lagos. Their groundbreaking fintech solution, Acceede, won the top prize of N1 million, standing out among 343 applications from across the nation.

Acceede is a revolutionary flexible payment platform designed to address critical challenges in the education sector, particularly the significant revenue loss faced by African secondary schools due to defaulting school fee payments. The platform offers sophisticated credit profiling and payment collection services, enabling educational institutions to identify reliable payers and potentially increase their revenue by up to 30%.

Since its inception in late 2021, Acceede has processed over N15 million for more than 15 schools across Lagos and Ogun State. The platform aims to provide 20 million people access to quality education within the next five years.
