The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), Professor Adenike Oladiji, recently welcomed members of the ENACTUS Team to formally introduce the newly elected Trustees of its leadership Board for the upcoming academic session.

During the presentation, Dr. (Mrs.) Modupe Ajayi, one of the Faculty Advisors, highlighted the significance of ENACTUS in fostering character development and learning among students. She emphasized the team's engagement in global competitions and its remarkable achievements, including winning the prestigious ENACTUS AWA challenge where FUTA secured the seventh position among teams across Africa.

Adebisi Adeitan, the Project Manager, outlined the team's ongoing and upcoming projects, namely QUITO, GASLIN, and DWEP, aimed at addressing issues such as malaria outbreaks, fire incidents, and business development.

In response, Vice Chancellor Oladiji, drawing from her experience as a former Faculty Advisor for ENACTUS at the University of Ilorin, commended the team for their dedication to social impact. She stressed the importance of individual growth through charitable activities and encouraged students to actively engage in value-adding projects that contribute to societal development.

Vice Chancellor Oladiji urged the ENACTUS members to embrace teamwork and commercialize their talents for greater impact. She expressed gratitude for the team's efforts in promoting the FUTA brand and pledged her unwavering support.

In recognition of her support and commitment, Vice Chancellor Oladiji was decorated as a member of ENACTUS and presented with the AWA Challenge Award won by the team.

The meeting concluded with Vice Chancellor Oladiji's assurance of continued support and blessings for the ENACTUS team as they strive to make a positive difference in their immediate environments and beyond.
