Gombe State University Hosts Four-Day Entrepreneurship Training

Gombe State University, through its Centre for Entrepreneurship Development Studies (CEDS), recently concluded a four-day intensive entrepreneurship training program for staff and students.
The training, held from June 30 to July 4, 2025, was supported by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) and facilitated by ROSHAN Consultants.
The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sani Ahmad Yauta, formally declared the training open, reaffirming the University's commitment to building a culture of innovation and enterprise through practical, skill-driven education. The Director of CEDS, Dr. Abubakar Sadiq Usman, revealed that 200 participants, including 50 staff members and 150 students, benefited from the training.
The program featured interactive sessions, group work, assignments, and real-life problem-solving tasks designed to foster practical understanding and application of entrepreneurial concepts. The training aims to promote self-reliance, innovation, and practical business knowledge within the campus community, aligning with the University's mission to produce self-sufficient graduates.
