Governor Zulum Orders Reconstruction of 'Ummah' Mosque at UNIMAID

Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State has given the green light for the reconstruction of an uncompleted Mosque, popularly known as 'Ummah,' situated within the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) campus.

This announcement was made during the governor's visit to the site of the project, which had seen limited progress due to previous challenges. Governor Zulum, upon inspecting the site, directed that rehabilitation work should commence within 48 hours of his visit.

The governor's commitment to UNIMAID has been evident since 2019, as he has consistently supported the institution. This support includes the construction of housing units for junior, intermediate, and senior staff to address the housing deficit on campus.
