The Acting Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Education, Zaria (FUEZ), Dr. Suleiman Balarabe, commended the Independent Transition Committee and the Dean of Students' Affairs for their successful organization of the Students' Representative Council (SRC) election through electronic voting during the inauguration of the newly elected executive members.

Dr. Balarabe highlighted that this innovative approach, a first for the institution, ensured a free, transparent, and credible electoral process. He expressed pride in the transition toward digital systems, which aligns with his administration's vision for enhancing efficiency and accessibility at the university.

During his address, the Acting VC acknowledged the significant role of the SRC as a vital training ground for future educators and leaders. He praised the outgoing President, Comr. Welcoming the newly sworn-in executive members, he urged them to embody values of honesty and straightforwardness, praying for divine guidance in their duties. He emphasized their essential role in representing student interests and contributing positively to the university's growth.

Reaffirming the SRC's independence, he assured the new executives that they would retain autonomy in their governance, expressing confidence in their capability to lead effectively.

The ceremony was attended by key university officials, including the Acting Registrar and the Acting Bursar, as well as distinguished guests, including government officials and current student leaders from various organizations.
