The Management of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) has announced the list of graduates cleared for the 2023 Batch ‘B’ National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme, Myschoolnews report.
The information, aimed at guiding the prospective corps members (PCMs), includes necessary steps to confirm eligibility and rectify errors where necessary.
How to confirm your eligibility
The university has uploaded the names of eligible graduates to the integrated database of the NYSC for the 2023 Batch ‘B’ programme. Prospective corps members whose names appeared on this data list are expected to proceed with their online registration from June 27, 2023.
Prospective corps members are advised to check the NYSC portal regularly for updates on the registration schedule for all Corps Producing Institutions. The NYSC portal can be accessed through the link here.
IAUE’s management has also noticed that some outgone students who were cleared online on the university portal and have paid their graduation charges and NYSC eligibility fees, may find their names missing from the NYSC portal.
Such students are advised to submit their forms to the Students Affairs Unit for the inclusion of their names in the data collation for 2023 Batch ‘B’ Stream 2. Students are also advised to check the error list for corrections.
Issues regarding ‘date of birth’ and ‘name correction’ should be directed to the Students Affairs Unit of the University. The university’s ICT support unit will provide timely technical assistance for NYSC mobilization. The university cautions its students to be wary of fraudsters who might demand money to rectify these issues.
The university emphasized that all prospective corps members should adhere to the approved timetable of the National Youth Service Corps to avoid complications during the mobilization process.
