IMAP Leaders Meet Nasarawa CP Nadada to Seek Justice for Late Terhile
Student leaders from Isa Mustapha Agwai 1 Polytechnic Lafia urge the Nasarawa State Commissioner of Police for justice and compensation following the death of Terhile.
In pursuit of justice for the late Terhile, key figures from the Isa Mustapha Agwai 1 Polytechnic Lafia Student Union Government, including Comr. J.J. Mutuwa, Comr. Theophilus Achuku, and Umar Abdullahi, met with CP Nadada, the Commissioner of Police for Nasarawa State.
The delegation discussed several critical issues:
Accountability for Perpetrators: They demanded that those responsible for Terhile’s death be held accountable.
Compensation for the Deceased's Family: The group urged that the family of the deceased receive appropriate compensation.
Preventive Measures: They called for the implementation of measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
The Commissioner assured the delegation that some suspects have been arrested and promised that those involved, including the implicated army personnel, would face justice. He also committed to addressing the other concerns raised.
The student leaders have urged Nigerian students to remain calm as they continue to seek justice for their colleague. They concluded their statement with a tribute to Terhile, wishing for his soul to rest in peace.
