The MSP is guided by ESUT's motto, "Technology for Service," and is specifically designed for the following categories of individuals, this includes civil or public servants, self-employed individuals, employees of companies and corporations, businessmen and women, and professionals who have excelled in their chosen fields. The program is open to adults who did not have the opportunity for formal secondary education but have undertaken private tuition or self-study, and have achieved proficiency in several subjects, often through ordinary or advanced levels of the General Certificate of Education (G.C.E).

The popularity of the MSP at ESUT has grown significantly over the years. Within just five years of its establishment, the program had already enrolled over five thousand registered students, a testament to its appeal and effectiveness. To be eligible for admission to the MSP, candidates should meet the following requirements, A candidate should have at least ten years of experience in their career or profession.
