UNILAG Releases DLI Admission List for 2025/2026 Academic Session (Batch 1)
The University of Lagos (UNILAG), through its Distance Learning Institute (DLI), has released the Batch 1 admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The University of Lagos (UNILAG), through its Distance Learning Institute (DLI), has released the Batch 1 admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Candidates offered provisional admission are required to download and confirm their admission status by accessing the admission list under their respective courses.
Following the release, the Institute has issued detailed guidelines for screening and registration, outlining mandatory documents and timelines for compliance.
For the screening exercise, newly admitted students are required to present the following original documents: coloured application form; primary or secondary school testimonial; O’Level certificate(s); all higher degree certificates for Direct Entry candidates including HND, OND, NCE, ICAN or other professional certificates; NYSC certificate, exemption or exclusion letter for Direct Entry candidates; birth certificate or sworn affidavit predating the admission advertisement; and marriage certificate, affidavit for change of name and newspaper publication where applicable for married female candidates.

After payment of all required fees, candidates must proceed with registration using the following documents: coloured application form; coloured and laminated admission letter; photocopy of testimonial; coloured student information form; photocopy of O’Level certificate(s); higher degree certificates for Direct Entry candidates; NYSC certificate, exemption or exclusion letter where applicable; coloured online-generated letter of acceptance; coloured online-generated biodata form; coloured online course registration form duly approved by the course adviser; a handwritten and signed letter of preparedness to pay all service charges; an original reference letter from an employer or sponsor; an original reference letter from a lawyer, clergy, imam or senior civil servant; coloured online-generated student payment receipt; marriage-related documents where applicable; birth certificate or sworn affidavit predating the admission advertisement; four passport photographs with white background bearing the candidate’s name and matriculation number on the reverse side; and JAMB slip.
The Institute cautioned that failure to appear for screening within one month may result in forfeiture of the admission.
Newly admitted candidates were also advised to beware of fraudsters, noting that the University does not engage third parties or agents in the admission process. Enquiries and clarifications are to be directed to the Office of the Institute Secretary.
