Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic Rector Commends Governor Sule for New Transformer Installation

The Acting Rector of Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic (IMAP), Lafia, Dr. Nurudeen Mu'azu Maifata, has praised Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, for supplying a new transformer to the institution. This initiative aims to restore electricity and improve service delivery within the Polytechnic.
Dr. Maifata made the commendation during an interview with Nasarawa Newsline while overseeing the installation of the new transformer today in Lafia. He noted that the previous transformer had collapsed in recent weeks, leading to power interruptions that affected administrative functions and laboratory services.
Expressing gratitude, Dr. Maifata acknowledged Governor Sule's commitment to providing a conducive teaching and learning environment at the Polytechnic. He emphasized that the Governor views the institution as a personal investment and assured that the Polytechnic community would ensure the effective use, maintenance, and safety of the new transformer.
Additionally, Engr. Yakubu Suleiman Umar, General Manager of the Nasarawa Electricity Power Agency (NaEPA), assured the Polytechnic of a stable power supply moving forward. He stated that Governor Sule had instructed the agency to replace the faulty transformer and restore electricity promptly. He also urged the management of the transformer to ensure its security and maintenance for optimal performance.
