Kaduna State Boosts ABU Medical Centre with Multimillion-Naira Drug Donation

The Medical Centre of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has received a large consignment of drugs valued at millions of naira from the Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board. The donation, consisting of 14 different drugs including antibiotics, anti-malarials, and vitamins, aims to enhance the services provided by the medical facility.

Dr. Bello Jamoh, Executive Secretary of the Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board, represented by Mrs. Nafisat Musa Isah, Director of Family and Community Care, stated that the donation was made to support the medical centre in serving students, staff, and neighboring communities.

Receiving the donation, Prof. Muhammed Dauda Maigatari, Director of University Health Services at ABU, expressed gratitude and assured that the drugs would be effectively utilized to meet the medical needs of the university community.

The donation was witnessed by top management staff of ABU’s health services, as well as officials from the Primary Health Care Board.
