Kaduna State University Announces Steps for Returning Students' Registration for 2023/2024 Academic Session

Kaduna State University (KASU) has released a comprehensive guide for the registration process for returning students for the upcoming 2023/2024 academic session. Here are the detailed steps to follow:

1. School Fees Payment:

Log in at KASU Student Portal using your Matric number as username and "kasu2024" as the initial password.

Change your password as prompted.

Click on "Fees" to view the fee schedule.

Pay online using ATM card details or at the bank with the payment reference number generated from the portal.

Two payment options: Full payment for access to both semester's course registration or part-payment allowing only first-semester course registration.

Print the payment receipt.

Warning: Be cautious of fraudsters; do not transfer money to strangers for payment. Pay online or print the payment invoice and pay at the bank personally.

2. Payment Validation:

Submit the payment receipt for validation and stamping at the "RETURNING STUDENTS PAYMENT VALIDATION DESKS" at the Bursary Department.

3. Course Registration:

Access the "Courses" menu on your dashboard at the registration portal to register for first and second-semester courses based on payment options.

Note that course registration is only active after successful payment.

4. Course Registration Validation:

Course registration validation and approval will be done online by the level coordinator.

Students with carryover(s) should consult their level coordinators for guidance.

After online approval: Print the approved course registration form.

Get the form signed by the Level Coordinator.

Get the form signed and stamped by the Head of Department.

5. File Update:

Submit the stamped payment receipts along with the signed course registration form to the Department and Academic Affairs Division for file update.
