Kaduna State University Hosts World Physiotherapy Day 2025

Kaduna State University recently organized a public lecture to commemorate World Physiotherapy Day 2025, themed "The Role of Physiotherapy in Healthy Ageing". The event was held in collaboration with the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy.

Speakers emphasized the importance of physiotherapy in promoting healthy ageing, mobility, and managing chronic conditions. They also highlighted the need for effective ageing strategies and collaboration among healthcare providers, communities, and governments.

The Deputy Governor of Kaduna State expressed the government's commitment to enhancing rehabilitation services. Several members of the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the field.
