Kaduna State University Partners with Treecare Nig. Ltd to Promote Environmental Sustainability
Kaduna State University (KASU) has taken a significant step towards promoting environmental sustainability by partnering with Treecare Nig. Ltd, a tree planting and environmental conservation company.

On Thursday, 23rd May 2024, a team from KASU's Physical Planning Department and Legal Unit officially handed over an approved plot to Treecare Nig. Ltd at the university's permanent site in Rigachikun, Kaduna. This follows the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two parties.

According to the agreement, Treecare Nig. Ltd will utilize the allocated plot to plant trees, establish an orchard, and engage in other environmental conservation activities. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in KASU's commitment to promoting environmental sustainability and reducing its carbon footprint.
Representatives from both parties expressed their commitment to adhering to the terms and conditions of the MoU, anticipating a mutually beneficial collaboration. The team present during the official handover included Mr. Festus Natsa, representative of the Director of Physical Planning at KASU, and Head of the Legal Unit, Barr. Abdulmutallab Idris.
