Kano State Polytechnic Appoints New Polytechnic Librarian
Mal. Isyaku, a 2008 graduate of B.A. Library and Information Science from Bayero University, Kano, holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Maiduguri, obtained in 2022. He is a Chartered Librarian licensed by the Librarian Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN).

The Management of Kano State Polytechnic has approved the appointment of Mal. Isyaku Muhammad as the Sit-in Polytechnic Librarian, effective August 2, 2024.
Mal. Isyaku, a 2008 graduate of B.A. Library and Information Science from Bayero University, Kano, holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Maiduguri, obtained in 2022. He is a Chartered Librarian licensed by the Librarian Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN).
Joining Kano State Polytechnic as a Lecturer III in 2012, Mal. Isyaku rose through the ranks to become a Principal Lecturer in 2021. Prior to his new role, he was the Head of the Library and Information Science Department at the School of Management Studies.
He is married with children.
