KASU Library Community Service Department Commemorates International Women’s Day 2025 on KASU FM
The Kaduna State University (KASU) Library Community Service Department marked International Women’s Day 2025 with a live radio program on KASU FM 98.5. Themed “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment,” the event addressed key gender issues, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration.

The Kaduna State University (KASU) Library Community Service Department successfully marked International Women’s Day (IWD) 2025 with a special live radio presentation on KASU FM 98.5. The program, which aired on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, focused on key gender issues affecting women and girls in Kaduna State and Nigeria.
Themed “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment,” the event aligned with the global advocacy for gender equality and commemorated the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, a pivotal framework for advancing women’s rights worldwide.
